TANK VISIT

We always have to stop and take advantage of the tank for a photo shoot...
Traveling with us to Lubango...
Elder Rodrigues, President Merrill, Elder Mavile, Elder Paulino, Elder Alfredo.

None of them can resist the urge to play on an old Army tank!!  They climb inside, outside, on top...every part of it is explored.

TIME WITH THE LUBANGO ELDERS

We enjoy visiting with our Elders in Lubango.  They are so far away and we treasure the time we have with them when we go visit.
Zone leaders,  Elder Paulino and Elder Rodrigues ready to start the meeting.
Elder Charoa and Elder Jensen sharing a teaching experience.
Elder Jeyambe and Elder Raso
President Merrill teaching...
Wonderful Zone meeting with these special Elders.  front row -- Elder Alfredo, Sister Merrill, President Merrill, Elder Mavile.  l to r back -- Elder Rodrigues, Elder Paulino, Elder Jensen, Elder Charoa, Elder Raso, Elder Jeyambe

TIME FOR FUN
A visit to Tundavala

On our way for a day of fun...

We have a special guest following us.

TIME TO MOVE ON TO
SERRA DE LEBA

I sure do love these men.
We enjoyed every part of this day together...
Learning spiritually and enjoying nature and each other.
Thank you Elders for this day.

OUT AND ABOUT THE COUNTRY

From pigs to flamingos...Elders to coffins!!!  Take a trip with us... around the scenes of Angola.

He is in HOG heaven!!
Along the beaches...sometime the waves really come in high.

Feeding the monkeys on the road a banana.

Our traveling companions...
Elder Paulino, Elder Mavile, Elder Rodrigues

Elder Alfredo needed some warmth when the sun went down.

You can buy anything on the street...even a duck for dinner.
A local pigeon roost. Many buildings have nails or glass to keep the pigeons off.

This is one way you haul your chickens to the market!!

Pink Flamingos around the city...

This is a frightening scene to me.
What is keeping that baby safe if Mom falls off?

Moving cattle is a common scene.
These goat farmers met a truck on the road to take their goats to the "market".
They were just picking them up and throwing them in!!!
THE FINAL SCENE... the truck transforms into a HEARSE!!  See the coffin in the back?

YES, always something to see and to learn.  What an adventure.
