CAPE TOWN -- CAPE OF GOOD HOPE

We had some free time to tour on our own.  We decided to tour the city and see what there is out there!!  What a treat we had!!!!
At one time we were on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean and then on the shore of the Indian Ocean.
Cold, rain, wind, animals, and natural beauty all in one day.
Starting out in False Bay on the Indian Ocean...

Through quaint little parts of town...
 Birds enjoying the sun.

Look out for baboons... :-0
Along the side of the road you can see these baboons.

Cape of Good Hope is the most Western tip of Africa.  It is a natural park with beautiful views of the surrounding ocean and land.

Atlantic Ocean
Ostriches along the road.

BACK TO FALSE BAY TO SEE THE PENGUINS...
Love these cute little creatures!

In this reserve, they have place protections for the penguin nests.  If you look close you can see the eggs.
Need we say more about penguins?

NOW BACK TO THE ATLANTIC!!

They call these mountain peaks,
"The Twelve Apostles".

AND BACK TO THE LIGHTHOUSE!  SAFE AND SOUND.
